This book tells of the further adventures of Peter Rabbit, Goldilocks, the Three Pigs, Red Riding Hood, Baby Bear and a couple of nefarious wolves as revealed through the letters that the characters exchange in their Hidden Forest world.
The Three Pigs are finally going to have their housewarming party, but not before a scary encounter with the wolves, one of whom lives high in a tree in the center of Hidden Forest, from which he spies on the others. It is there that he hatches a plan to detour some of the group on the way to the party. Luckily Mama Bear saves the day, and this time the wolves will be in need of a new tail and a new ear.
