It's Book Week at Alice and Jimmy's school - and they both agree that's the best week of the entire year (after Christmas, and all the other holidays, of course). There will be an amazing author visit and a fantastic fancy dress character parade, but the best thing of all is that Alice and Jimmy will be joint Library Monitor.
However, power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely - and before long neither of them can wear the coveted badge. There's only one thing to do: they need to prove their worthiness with a quest ... for the best ever character costume at their Book Week Parade!
