A Yellow Banana Book for young readers illustrated by Chris Priestley.
Bomber Wilson hates writing. When Mrs Evans tells the class to write a nature diary, Bomber groans. Out in the garden conducting his survey of the night sky, Bomber sees something extraordinary: three large eggs and some enormous foot prints that vanish into thin air. Bomber is so excited that he writes pages and pages in his diary. The following night, right before his very eyes, a dinosaur wanders through the garden. Bomber discovers the skeleton of a Diplodocus in some excavated ground at the local roadworks and gets his photo in the local newspaper. Even better, he wins two gold stars for his nature project!
This is an exciting, ghostly adventure. Yellow Bananas books combine the visual appeal of picture books with the strength of Mammoth fiction for newly-fluent young readers.
