Xilocart is the artisan press of Mariaelisa Leboroni and is located in a small studio in the Italian hill town of Perugia. For more than forty years, she has specialised in the art of xilografia-printmaking using engraved wooden blocks, with tools and techniques that date back to the fifteenth century. Her prints using this ancient technique and her original versions have been exhibited in museums all over the world.
