When Willa Winslow decides to keep a secret, little does she know that it will lead her to be summoned to the mountain by Cosmo the Orderly. Willa is drawn into a magical world where order and chaos are constantly out of balance. Can she restore harmony to the mountain?
Willa Winslow and her twin brother Jack are twelve. Willa sees Jack and his friends pasting lawn clippings all over the school principal's car. But Willa decides to keep it a secret and tells Jack she will "save it for later."
Unfortunately for Willa, she is the last person in a seven-year cycle to keep a secret, have a wish or idea or a good or bad thought. That means she is summoned to the mountain by Cosmo, the Orderly.
When she reaches the mountain Willa meets Cosmo, who makes order amongst all the wishes, ideas, thoughts, secrets etc that fly around the world. Order is only maintained if they have energy and the energy comes from all the chaos that is generated by the nearby Kingdom of Chaos.
