An easy 2 1/4 hour drive north of Sydney (or 1 hour drive from Newcastle Airport), this region has romantic week mini break written all over it. Experience the happening harvest as well many outdoor concerts and festivals in summer or cosy on down in winter around a crackling fire with a nice glass of local red. Spolit for choice with boutique accomodation, a word of warning, weekend prices can sometimes be triple that of the weekdays and minimum 2 or 3 nights often apply. So ditch the desk and have grab a grape escape.
