While walking the streets of London, fate intervenes when Ava crosses Russ's path. He recognises her instantly as the woman he fell in love with as a twelve-year-old in North Carolina. A friendship grows and, for Russ, friendship soon blossoms into something more. Something for which he's willing to give up everything.
