If you had a second chance at first love . . . would you take it?

It's been three years since Adam's love saved Mia after the accident that annihilated life as she knew it . . . and three years since Mia walked out of Adam's life forever.

Now living on opposite coasts, Mia is Julliard's rising star and Adam is LA tabloid fodder, thanks to his new rock star status and celebrity girlfriend. When Adam gets stuck in New York by himself, chance brings the couple together again, for one last night. As they explore the city that has become Mia's home, Adam and Mia revisit the past and open their hearts to the future-and each other.

Told from Adam's point of view in the spare, powerful prose that defined If I Stay, Where She Went explores the devastation of grief, the promise of new hope, and the flame of rekindled romance.

Untitled
A sequel that also works as a standalone novel, Where She Went takes place three years after the events of If I Stay but works as you don't have to have read the first one to understand... though it does help. Adam and Mia have been separated by loss and life and need to figure out who they are apart, unless fate throws them together again. - Jordanna (QBD)

I Can't Figure Out the Reason Why This is So Popular
This book took me less than twenty four hours to read. And not because I was ravenously devouring the story or because the writing was superb. I read it because I wanted to know what happened with Adam and Mia. Because I felt ripped off by the ending of If I Stay. I feel like if that book had ended better, this book would not have been necessary. The whole story feels forced and I hated reading from Adam's point of view after reading the first book from Mia's. I was annoyed by the start, not knowing who was speaking for seven pages really annoyed me, because really it could have been either of them. The story is filled with buzzwords, cliches, pop culture references and all too cheesy rock and roll terms. This is the type of book that gives the young adult genre the reputation it has. I can't see any merit in many of the other reviews of this book being five stars, but then I obviously didn't have the same gushy reaction that others have. I like this story a lot less than it's predecessor and just felt that the whole thing tried too hard and was flat all the way through. I especially hated that Adam was given a substance abuse problem, way to show the impressionable minds reading your book how to deal with break ups, it really sends a great message to them about relationships and how one person shouldn't be the be all and end all of your world. And the ending. Predictable. I knew from the start they would end up together, because who would want to see something different? Hated it. Blah. Would not rush to read more of Forman's work in future. Do not recommend either book.

Where she went
The sequel to If I stay, written from the perspective of Mia's boyfriend, Adam, three years after Mia wakes up from her near death experience. I honestly thought this book waas BETTER than the first, or at the very least, the perfect sequel. This book further explores the pain of grief and loss for those left behind and also, the pain of lost love and second chances. I would definitely recommend this book to everyone who enjoyed If I Stay. Reviewed by 30cs
