Making Reading Discovery Work For You
The Reading Discovery Teaching Plans provide teachers with ideas to help them develop children's reading skills. Included on each teaching plan are suggested pre-reading activities that introduce the book while activating children's prior knowledge and experience and providing a focus for guided reading. Follow-up discussion questions and activities are included in order to help children develop good reading behaviours and extend their understanding and appreciation of the story.
