With it's pared back, minimalist cover, Wasted Youth hides between it's covers a paen to and a sly denunciation of modern consumer culture. Tim and Sue's art art evokes both gaudy Vegas culture and down-anddirty punk rock.
Initially the pair were on the fringe of the infamous early 90's Young British Artists (YBA) art scene which included the ever controversial works of Damien Hirst and Tracey Emint. However with Noble and Webster's first critically acclaimed 1996 show British Rubbish the pair became notorious in their own right with their "F**k you" reponse to the hype of surrounding so many of their art school peers.
