'A Man In The Zoo': When John Cromartie and his lover, Josephine Lackett, quarrel about marriage, she exclaims that he should be an exhibit in the zoo. So, in a fit of spurned love he arranges to do just that, and moves into his cage between the chimpanzee and the orang-utan. But even though he's the star exhibit, he still can't get Josephine out of his head . . .
'Lady Into Fox': Mr Richard Trebick, a Victorian country gentleman, is aghast when his beloved wife Silvia, after only a year of marriage, in an unexplained miracle of the very worst kind, turns into a fox. Dismissing his servants and shooting his dogs, he attempts to continue living as a married couple, dressing his wife in her old clothes, and trying vainly to control her savage nature.
