A comprehensive insight reflecting the independently mounted exhibition, Tragedy Plus Time, which explored the tragicomic impulse in contemporary art. 'Tragedy Plus Time' features full-colour installation images of two exhibitions, as well as two critical essays by the exhibition curators and a speculative essay on the tragicomic impulse in art practices by a guest writer. The artists in 'Tragedy Plus Time' use humour to address a spectrum of difficult content, from the trauma inflicted by general societal ills, to tragedies which are more personal and specific.
