Timely Architecture comes from the experiences developed at the Studio Monica Armani, which in recent years has committed to deliver light projects, looking forward to a new vision for temporary and life programmed architectures.
The main idea is to design 'programmed-life' buildings which, at the end of their expected cycle, can easily 'disappear', giving back the space to the territory, with certain costs. The book introduces a debate on several topics related to this idea of architecture, creating a dialogue with different interlocutors coming from both the academic and the professional world. Timely Architecture aims to become a platform made of tools supporting this planning approach, with the goal of creating a network of expertise to gather experiences, suggest and corroborate this methodology, and eventually other concrete solutions for these projects.
