In the spring of 1975, at the same time the Apple founders took up residence in the Jobs family garage, a trio of neophyte businessmen backed an old Chrysler onto a sun-baked Arizona driveway and convened in their new facility. The garage start-up, optimistically (yet prophetically) dubbed Ticketmaster, would come to achieve such market dominance over the decades to follow, that some critics would denounce the company as an unlawful monopoly.
