Through Time Beijing

Through Time: Beijing follows the story of several grand palaces and cities in what we now know as Beijing. Beginning in prehistoric times, an agricultural community slowly evolves. By the medieval period an imperial palace is taking shape. The reader follows the story of daily life under the different imperial dynasties, and of the cities that rise and fall around this site.
