Now in its sixth year, The S Pellegrino World's 50 Best Restaurant Awards is quickly becoming known as the Oscars of the food world. As with all such lists, it stimulates fervent debate and some times controversy, but each year it becomes more and more compelling for the internationally renowned chefs who flock to the event.
