This revised and updated edition completes the history of Test cricket with the full scorecards and match reports from September 1996 to the end of England's 1999 series with New Zealand, none of which has been published in previous editions. It also includes full scores of the 104 Women's Tests played since December 1934. There are comprehensive records sections and an extensive index of players for both forms of Test cricket.
Also included are variations of bowling orders for the second innings in addition to special features introduced in earlier versions: close of play and not out batsmen's scores, debutants, the identities of substitutes who have made dismissals, umpires and their cumulative number of appearances, and changes of batting orders in the second innings.
