I loved White's debut novel, 'The Nowhere Child', but thought I knew what to expect with this one. Not so! When the twist hit me, I thought for a moment that there'd been a CATASTROPHIC typo. Wow! The twist that brought this all together was like a smack to the head that left you re-evaluating all that you'd previously read! On reflection, little things made sense.
