Two great stories about Michael and his cousins, the Wests.
In the first story, Michael's Auntie Rosie and Uncle Leo are going to paint their kitchen, so the whole West gang has to be out of the house for the day. Michael's mum doesn't want them cluttering up her nice house, so they troop off to the park. But rain forces them to take shelter in Pong Castle. Someone, though, has stripped the place of metal and the staircase collapses, trapping the Wests upstairs. How can they get out of this?
In the second story, the Wests go to Wellington to watch Johnny in a ballet competition. Except for Miranda and Michael, who have colds, and Goof the dog, who has a fascination with the next door neighbour's pet rabbit. The Wests' wonky fence gives Goof his opportunity, and soon he is back with a dead rabbit in his mouth. Can Michael and Miranda rescue the situation?
