'The Meeting Of The Waters' tells the story of the initial contact between the legendary Tuatha De Danaan and the Irish Gaels. For generations there has been a war between the Danaans and Fir-Bolg. The taking of hostages and a treaty has ensured relative peace for some time, but it is an uneasy peace. Both sides are on the brink of renewing hostilities when reports come of a great foreign fleet assembled off the coast and making ready to land an army. The shared threat is not enough to reunite the old enemies until two royal hostages, who have been separated from their own people for most of their lives, escape captivity.
