The author shows on the basis of modern Western research, that the Christian church doctrines relating to the birth, crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus, as well as other details of these events as believed in by the church, and various rites and rituals of the church, are derived from the pagan cults of sun-worship which were prevalent in the world at that time.
