Charlie Boggs is just an ordinary twelve–year–old boy. Slightly podgy and with red hair, he certainly isn't the kind of stuff heroes are made of.
But one day Charlie's life is tipped upside down when his mysterious aunt tells him that he is the only person who can save their family from a wicked curse. Charlie is terrified.
A strange bolt of green lightning provides him with much needed help in the form of a quirky little robot called Buz, but will that be enough? The quest to find the missing stones from The Pendant of Epoch will thrust Charlie into frightening worlds he could never dream of and set him against unimaginable dark forces.
With time quickly running out, can Charlie and Buz beat the overwhelming odds and break the sinister curse – or will they end up lost for ever in the frightening Sphere of the Spirits?
