The Other Wife sees Joe O'Loughlin once again work with his friend, retired DI Ruiz, dealing with a case which is even closer to home than before.
In creating O'Loughlin, a forensic psychologist, Michael Robotham sought to give his character a difference by having him inflicted with Parkinson's Disease and that sense of difference has been retained over the course of a number of novels. Robotham's writing is, as always, tight and well controlled. The Other Wife is definitely on a par with Robotham's previous novels and sure to be enjoyed by his fans. - Ross (QBD)
