Meet the Mudcrusts! Lowbrow Mudcrust, the lumbering, lazy head of the family, his wife Flora and their two children, Bogweed and Fungus. Although Fungus doesn't have Bogweed's brute strength, he is does have more brains.
In Monstrous Mammoths, the third in the series, we find that the problems of the Mudcrusts are not over yet. After being outdone by Bogweed in the adventure of the sabre-toothed tiger, Fungus is determined to prove that he is a great hunter. He sets out to catch a mammoth but soon finds himself trapped in the middle of a monstrous herd. Will Bogweed come to his rescue yet again, or will Fungus become the mammoths' lunch?
