This striking and powerful deck was developed both as a means of personal growth and development and as a method of divination, drawing on the vast wisdom of the Maya who perceived our lives as a complex interweaving of many strands. The cards depict specially created stone carvings by Achim Frederic Kiel which are based on original Maya imagery. There is presently a heightened interest in the Maya as we approach the date marking the end of the Mayan calendar cycle - and according to their prophecy, the world itself - in 2012.
