I, like most people, am a sucker for fairy tales, and the retelling of them. Throw in some cyborgs, epic mental powers and a revolution in space and you have The Lunar Chronicles.
The biggest drawback of this series is it's predictability, which is inevitable considering we all know the original stories, but Meyer makes up for it with a fresh and exciting new setting, and the banter between the characters, who's circumstances have them fighting for the same goals, fluctuates between intense and humorous.
Overall, this is an exciting YA series that I can recommend for all ages, and features the kind of strong female lead and intense story telling that got people excited for “The Hunger Games” and “Throne of Glass”. - Megan (QBD)

There are so many things I could tell you about this awesome series! A strange and wonderful mixture of fairy tales and sci-fi that somehow come together and blow your mind! Cinder (Cinderella) and Iko, a droid with a faulty personality chip, struggle to find a cure to a fatal plague that's infected Cinder's half sister all the while being asked by the prince of New-Beijing to fix a broken droid. Fall in love with these fantastic characters as they battle to protect themselves, each other and the Earth. - Chelsea (QBD)
