The Light Pours Out of Me is the official biography, endorsed by John's daughter, Emily, and contains insights and contributions from interviewees Johnny Marr, Johnny Greenwood, Red Hot Chilli Pepper John Frusciante, Keith Levene, Billy Idol, Siouxsie, Peter 'Hooky' Hook, all of Magazine... and many, many more. Artwork is by Malcolm Garrett, John's long-standing friend and Magazine's record sleeve designer (amongst others), and the book includes a stash of before unseen photographs.
