Responding to the many requests she has received for a meditation program for beginners, Salle Merrill Redfield has created The Joy of Meditating. This audio introduces the fundamentals of meditative practice - breathing, relaxation and creative visualisation - and takes listeners on a series of four fifteen minute meditations. The meditations are organised sequentially, leading listeners first to relax their bodies, and then, through guided visualisation, exploring a gentle stream, a majestic lake, and finally the shore of a powerful ocean.
These meditations can help beginners as well as those already practising meditation to reduce tension and anxiety, open themselves to a higher awareness and reach a deeper connection to the divine.
