Paralysed in a hit-and-run accident, Kits is filled with anger - especially at her best friend, Lisa, who escaped the accident and can't even remember a single detail to help the police find the driver. But the accident has left Kits changed in other ways, too. Somehow she has developed certain gifts -the ability to "dream" a future that really happens, even to read another's mind.
