'The Gingerbread Man' is one of the most popular of all children's story rhymes that has been passed down from generation to generation.
The very confident Gingerbread Man thinks he can run away from the many favourite nursery rhyme characters in the story as Humpty Dumpty etc chase the very yummy-looking Gingerbread Man. He runs until he reaches a river that he cannot cross and a sly fox suggests that the Man jumps on his back and he will ferry him across the river . . . but with a flick of his head, the fox tosses the Gingerbread Man into his mouth.
When the children have finished the story, the back page gives a delicious Gingerbread Man recipe. Beautifully illustrated and retold, this will e a great addition to any child's picture book library.
