Artist Geoff Harvey has won The Gallipoli Prize twice, and the current vedition of The Desert Column by Ion Idriess holds last year's winning work. Harvey is showing a survey of 50 paintings of his Gallipoli sequence, from Enlisting, through Landing, through the campain to final embarkation. It is very powerful, and this showing at Robin Gibson Gallery in Sydney during April 2022 will get noted with Anzac Day celebrations. Each painting has an eloquent section of Idriess's own experience as a Light Horseman at Gallipoli. Full colour throughout.
