The Dying Alchemists is a stunning coffee-table book that invites readers, through prose, poetry and art, to reflect on the nature of existence. The work is an insightful mix of current scientific ideas, thoughts on consciousness and how it feels to be human, and the majesty of the unfolding universe. Delicate watercolours weave together the narrative and poetry, bringing the reader to a place of deep contemplation, focusing on the minutiae of nature as a metaphor for universal themes. The combination of prose, poetry and visual art is a rich celebration of life and the wonders of existence and consciousness.
