Sethany Ann and Nicey Melinda are two very special dolls who have lived to see one hundred and ten Christmases. Every year they celebrate the holiday by inviting their friends to a dinner party and a marionette show. They send out invitations on doll-size notepaper by Sparrow Post, prepare doll-size cookies and cakes, and even decorate their very own Christmas tree. Finally, at "candlelight time" on Christmas Day, their friends begin to arrive, and the evening isn't over until the last carol has been sung.
