Winter Santiaga is fast, brash, and sexy. She thinks she has it all: money, the latest designer styles, a great body. Her father operates one of the largest drug dealing operations in Brooklyn and, because of this, he and his family command the respect of the ghetto. When her father moves the family out to a posh community in Long Island, however, Winter's world begins to break apart. Her mother is shot in the face, her father is arrested, and Winter's philosophy - that life is just one big hustle - proves to be an empty one.
