Self-conscious about his birthmark, Sasha manages to forget his own troubles only when a mouse-eating cat threatens the neighbourhood. Cleverly thwarting the cat, Sasha wins the respect and admiration of his peers, who from then on all want to have birthmarks just like Sasha's.
