'The Ballad of Erinungarah' by Orion (Timothy Papadimitriou, eunuch, now resident of Bloomfield Asylum, Orange) was discovered in the bottom of an old mailbag by postman D'Arcy D'Oliveres, now retired. In response to his discovery, he wrote 'The Glade Within The Grove' to be read as a supplement to the 'Ballad'. "A view from the Mind to be read in conjunction with the view form the poets Heart." The 'Ballad' was then tragically lost, only to be rediscovered years later. It is published here for the first time.
D'Oliveres believes the poem has an historical foundation - because everything has gone terribly wrong for this civilisation: overpopulation, Greenhouse effect, salination, body piercing and sexual sadism - and tends towards something; a solution. He believes the solution lies in 'The Ballad Of Erinungarah'.
