On August 17th, 1960, on stage at the Indra Club in Hamburg, a band from Liverpool makes its debut. Only the day before, whilst waiting for the ferry boat that would take them to Germany, the band members had chosen to change their name: from that moment on, they would be THE BEATLES. Thank You Boys is a tribute to the Fab 4 and their history, a journey through their career in chronological order using the musical production in both LP and 45 rpm records as narrative thread. From here you can branch out a series of topics that show particular passion for collecting: from magazines to pins, from games to scrapbooks, memorabilia up to the celebration of the great albums' reissues that are able to demonstrate without any doubt that the Beatles' musical heritage and culture is still very much alive. AUTHOR: Massimo Masini is a great collector and an expert in beat culture. His collection on the Beatles has been the subject of a travelling exhibition; in 2000 he founded the cultural association "Sottomarino Gialloblu" (italian for "Yellow Submarine"). SELLING POINTS: A tribute to the Beatles and their history, a journey through their musical production by memorabilia and good stories. ILLUSTRATIONS: 250 colour illustrations *
