Created in 1721 by Dean Montieri, this is one of the rarest Tarot decks in the world, as most of them were burnt due to the influence of the Church. The deck follows the reduced number of cards as in the Bologna variant and does not feature illustrations on the cards, but rather indeces and notes by Motieri about XVIII century society, politics and geography.
