Anna has left her husband. He's a cheating, lying, miserly rat and her friends agree that she's better off without him. But he refuses to stay out of her life. He keeps coming back to reclaim jut one more picture, one more ornament, one more memento of a failed marriage. This can't go on; drastic action is called for.
It is all perfectly rational. People meet with domestic accidents every day: swallowing garden poison, eating infected food. Why would anyone be suspicious? Why then is it so difficult to execute the plan?
