Superstition holds a fascination for us all and throughout our livecs, whether we admit it or not, at one time or another we all give way to some level of belief. Throughout the years most superstitions have been handed down by word of mouth. There is such a variety of different ideas on the original thems that we accept them for what they seem to be rather than for what they actually are. Specifically, to be superstitious implies a form of credulity regarding the supernatural, an irrational fear of the unknown or mysterious: there is a widely held but unjustified idea of the effects of the nature of the thing.
