Stylist profiles the work and personal style of the fashion industry's top stylists. Called upon by designers, editors, photographers, and celebrities, stylists have a sixth sense for what is now and next in the fashion ether. Stylists use articles of clothing, makeup, hairstyles, and accessories to interpret their vision. Organised by stylist, the book features photos of each stylist's creative output, their influences and inspirations, as well as pictures of them, illustrating their distinctive and idiosyncratic flair. A fascinating look at how fashion is created today, edited by Style.com, and written by Sarah Mower, a leading fashion writer and contributing editor at American Vogue.

A fashion guru for more than thirty years, Coddington was first a model in London whose contemporaries were Jean Shrimpton and Twiggy and segued into the editorial side of fashion working alongside Helmut Newton, Cecil Beaton, David Bailey, and Guy Bourdin.

Polly Mellen is a veritable fashion force, having worked closely with Richard Avedon, Helmut Newton, and many other photographic luminaries. She collaborated with Avedon on some of his most iconic photo sessions, including those with the models Veruschka, Twiggy, and Penelopee Tree.
