In this photographic exploration of award-winning architect Marc Mimram's (*1955, Paris) public works, Erieta Attali captures how designed public space merges with urban life. Erieta Attali (*1966, Tel Aviv-Jaff a) is a renowned New York-based photogra- pher who in her practice explores the relationship between ar- chitecture and the landscape. This double volume builds a new visual vocabulary through which to interpret Mimram's projects, and addresses the social functionality of public architecture, which has been largely absent in architectural photography and the communication of built space until now. The fi rst volume focuses on small-scale architectural elements through a detailed documentation of the construction site of Mimram's Panorama Building in Paris. The second volume pr esents an overview of a selection of Mimram's works ar ound the world, from France to Morocco and China.
