Erin is a stripper. Her place of work, the tastefully named Eager Beaver, is the scene of an explosive encounter between sex and politics in the shape of a corrupt congressman, Dave Dilbeck, who epitomizes crazed, slobbering lechery.
The Eager Beaver is not a civilised place. Its entrepreneurial owner will try anything, from wind machines to creamed-corn nude wrestling, to get a competitive edge. But Erin needs the money. She's fighting a child-custody case against her ex-husband, a wheel-chair thief whose extreme chemical dependency makes him an unpredictable enemy.
