Storm and Honey is the new collection by prize-winning poet Judith Beveridge. It concentrates in a dramatic way both the raw emotional power and the sweetness which are the essential qualities of Beveridges verse. Its centrepiece, Driftgrounds is a series of portraits of the crew of a trawler which fishes off the coast of NSW and in estuarine waters, told from the point of view of one of the men, who is more than usually sensitive to their strengths and limitations.
