Here is a large-format photographic book that defies the traditional concept of a book for charity. The ingredients: Take four Australian professional fashion and portrait photographers - Gary Heery, Grant Matthews, Hugh Stewart and Paul Westlake - and have them mentor three amateurs - visitors to the Wayside Chapel in Sydney's King's Cross - and the result is a collection of unexpected images celebrating humanity. Accompanying the superb black and white and some colour photography are selected Stories from the Inner Circle, the name of the weekly email written by the Wayside's quietly charismatic Reverend Graham Long.
