NO ONE SAID BEING A PADAWAN WOULD BE EASY. BUT SHOULD IT BE THIS HARD?
Jedi Padawan Obi-Wan Kenobi is newly apprenticed to his master, Qui-Gon Jinn, and can’t help wondering if their pairing was a mistake. Obi-Wan excels at lightsaber duels, but Qui-Gon wants to focus on meditation. While other Padawans join their masters on exciting off-planet missions, Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan stay put on Coruscant. Then Obi-Wan discovers clues pointing to unfinished Jedi business on a mysterious planet, and convinces Qui-Gon that they should investigate. But the morning they are to leave, Qui-Gon is nowhere to be found. Angry and hurt, Obi- Wan takes off alone, determined to fulfill the mission.
On the planet Lenahra Obi-Wan encounters a group of young people who all appear to use the Force, and who also appear to be the planet’s only inhabitants. As he spends more time with them and drifts further away from his life at the Jedi Temple, Obi-Wan wrestles with his greatest fear: maybe he was never meant to be a Jedi at all. Yet he can’t escape the nagging sense that something on Lenahra is just . . . wrong. Can Obi-Wan rediscover his connection to the Force in time to save himself and everyone around him?
