With the destruction of the Death Star, the Rebel Alliance had won a significant battle against the Empire but the war was far from over. The Imperial fleet, under the direct command of Darth Vader, tracked the rebels to the hostile ice-planet of Hoth and there unleashed a devastating ground assault.
The surviving Rebel forces scatter across the galaxy. Luke Skywalker heads for the Dagobah system and a meeting with an ancient Jedi Master who he hopes will teach him the ways of the Force. Han, Leia and Chewbacca also evade the Imperial forces. They plot a course to Cloud City, little knowing the terrible fate that awaits them . . .
