An easy-to-read Solo for beginning readers about sharing and belonging.
There's an uninvited visitor to Matt's house. It's a cat - a strange cat - and it keeps trying to get through the cat flap to find food. Pudding, Matt's cat, is not happy, and neither are Matt or Dad! They do everything they can to get rid of the strange cat, but nothing works. The hungry little stray keeps coming back.
After a while, Matt starts to feel sorry for it. Perhaps there's some way it can stay and even make itself useful. Matt comes up with what he thinks is a great solution to the problem. But will Dad agree?
