Introduced by Sue Townsend, who recently lost her sight, 'Sightlines' includes many hitherto unpublished stories, essays and poems by leading contemporary authors such as Louis de Bernieres, Antonia Fraser, Nina Bawden, Frederick Forsyth, Doris Lessing, A S Byatt, Malcolm Bradbury, David Lodge, John Fowles, D J Enright, Andrew Motion, David Malouf, Rose Tremain, Julian Barnes, Ruth Rendell, Michele Roberts, Tibor Fischer, Philip Kerr and Reginald Hill among many others.
