She was named Scuba Diving Magazine's July 2016 Sea Hero , awarded the inaugural Shark Con Shark Hero Award in 2017 and was the Go Blue Awards 2020 Blue Ambassador of the Year. She is the author of Norman the Nurse Shark and Shark Super Powers and a member of the prestigious Ocean Artists Society. Duncan Brake - Vice President, Media Director Sharks4Kids - Duncan studied marina biology at University of Stirling before heading to South Georgia and Antarctica to work as an observer and junior scientist. A volunteer stint at the Bimini Sharklab ignited his passion for underwater filming. After he returned to be their media manager, Duncan pursued a full time career as a videographer. Duncan is an Emmy nominated and BAFTA Award winning cinematographer who has shot for BBC, Shark Week, Discovery Channel, Animal Planet, National Geographic and numerous other channels.
